Bear-Lock anti-theft device

This mechanical Bear-Lock gear shift lock locks the vehicle when engaged in the park position so that other gears cannot be engaged before driving off. It can be activated by pushing the locking bolt into the immobiliser. The vehicle is effectively protected against theft because the TÜV-approved immobiliser is made of hardened steel. In addition, it is completely maintenance-free, current-independent, powder-coated and is firmly connected to the vehicle body by means of breakaway screws or nuts under/behind the centre console – making it inaccessible to thieves.
