Totalmobil! – we have the answers to your questions

When you buy a new or used vehicle from AMAG or AMAG partner companies of the Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, Škoda, CUPRA and VW Commercial Vehicles brands, your vehicle is automatically insured with Totalmobil! free of charge. Vehicle and mobility insurance runs from service event to service event. But this is only if the service work is carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s/importer’s specifications at the authorised service partner of your vehicle brand in Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein. Your AMAG garage takes care of extending Totalmobil! for you.

Yes. Totalmobil! vehicle insurance is valid throughout Europe, with the exception of the following countries: Iceland, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Belarus.

Please always dial the number of the emergency service centre, +41 (0)848 024 365, to benefit from comprehensive Totalmobil! insurance cover. Services can only be undertaken if they are approved in advance by Totalmobil! and carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications at an official brand partner in Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein.

We will happily send you a new card. Please order a new card via the contact form. In the meantime you do of course continue to be insured. The Totalmobil! card does not count as proof of cover. This means that you’re also insured without a card as long as the conditions are met at the time of the breakdown.

Unfortunately no, since Totalmobil! only insures vehicles of the brands Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, Škoda, CUPRA or VW Commercial Vehicles. These vehicles have to have been imported by AMAG Import Ltd and/or the last service on the vehicle has to have been carried out at an official brand partner in Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein.

Directly imported vehicles are not automatically insured via Totalmobil!. However, vehicle insurance may be activated or extended free of charge once a service in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications has been carried out at an official brand partner in Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein.
