The insurer is liable when there’s hail damage. Your fully or partially comprehensive insurance pays for losses caused by natural hazard events. We’re happy to help you with the damage report and dealing with your insurance. Those who have only taken out mandatory liability insurance must pay for the repair themselves.

We advise you to have any hail damage repaired provided there isn’t a write-off. Damage reports often differ from the actual repair costs to your disadvantage. In addition, if hail damage recurs, it’s difficult to distance it from the first damage, so the insurer is no longer fully liable. This may also apply to liability claims if you’re involved in an accident that’s not your fault. In the case of leased vehicles that have not been repaired, the costs must be paid by the lessee on return.

Our experts will take care of the damage survey, report the damage to your insurer, prepare, if requested by the insurer, an expert opinion under optimal lighting conditions and calculate the damage precisely. If you already have an expert opinion, we’ll be happy to check it for you. After the costs have been released, we will repair your vehicle carefully and without loss of value.

The costs for natural hazards such as hail damage are covered by your fully or partially comprehensive insurance, without the bonus level being adjusted. You only pay the deductible agreed with your insurer. Mandatory liability insurance does not cover damage caused by the elements.
