AMAG uses the online platform provided by the external provider ‘LivePerson’ as a chat solution. By using the chat function, the user consents to our processing of personal data in compliance with data protection legislation.
AMAG collects, stores and processes personal data of its customers and interested parties insofar as this is necessary in the context of the business relationship and is made visible by its users during the operation of the platform.
When using the AMAG chat, your data is transmitted from your browser to LivePerson using a secure protocol. The data is stored encrypted on LivePerson’s infrastructure in the Netherlands/Great Britain.
Through the use of the chat communication channel, data can be collected and evaluated. The chat history can be used for training purposes and for quality improvement. As long as no personal information, such as telephone number or email address, is communicated, the communication history is mostly anonymous. If the user provides contact information, it will only be used to answer his question or to contact the ‘Customer Care’ team. In this case, the user agrees to be contacted via the alternative communication channel requested by him.
