The interior of the new VW ID.4 is so intelligently and generously designed that it offers you and your family an impressive feeling of space. You'll notice this as soon as you get in: plenty of legroom, a variably designed centre console and comfortable seats, optionally with electric adjustment and memory function. Plus a central touch display measuring up to 30.5 cm (12 inches) and a multifunction steering wheel with touch controls and vibration feedback. Ambient lighting in your choice of colours underlines the lounge character of the electric car.

The electricity of the VW ID.4 takes you forward

Drive comfortably to the office in the morning, go to the gym beforehand and set off for a weekend trip with full equipment right after work - no problem with the VW ID.4. In the 1ST and 1ST Max models, you have a battery with 77 kWh net battery energy content and a range close to the customer of 360-520 km as well as a system output of 150 kW with Performance Upgrade.

The VW ID.4 is available in several model variants to meet different needs and preferences. The basic version, the ID.4 Pure, is equipped with a 109 kW (148 hp) or 125 kW (170 hp) electric motor and has a 52 kWh battery that allows a range of up to 340 km (WLTP). This variant offers all the necessary features, including LED headlights, a digital cockpit and a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

The VW ID.4 Pro variant features a 150 kW (204 hp) electric motor and a 77 kWh battery that achieves a range of up to 520 km (WLTP). This version is equipped with advanced comfort and safety features such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist and a larger 12-inch touchscreen.

For those looking for improved performance, there is the VW ID.4 Pro Performance. This variant also has a 150 kW (204 hp) electric motor and a 77 kWh battery with a range of up to 520 km (WLTP), but offers sportier accents and additional performance features.

The sportiest variant is the ID.4 GTX, which is equipped with 220 kW (299 hp) dual-motor all-wheel drive. With a 77 kWh battery, it achieves a range of up to 480 km (WLTP). The ID.4 GTX is characterised by a dynamic design, sporty seats, special GTX design elements and advanced assistance systems.

Finally, there is the VW ID.4 Max, the highest specification variant. This version has a 150 kW (204 hp) electric motor and a 77 kWh battery with a range of up to 520 km (WLTP). The ID.4 Max offers all the available comfort and technology features, including a panoramic glass roof, a head-up display and a premium sound system.

The VW ID.4 is equipped with a variety of advanced driver assistance systems that significantly improve both safety and comfort while driving. These systems are designed to assist the driver and minimise potential hazards.

 

One of the central assistance systems is Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC). This system automatically maintains the distance to the vehicle in front and adjusts the speed accordingly. Especially on long motorway journeys or in heavy traffic, Adaptive Cruise Control is a great relief, as it relieves the driver of the need to constantly adjust the speed.

 

Another important system of the VW ID.4 is Lane Assist, which detects lane markings and helps the driver to keep the vehicle in the lane. If the vehicle unintentionally leaves the lane, Lane Assist warns the driver and can, if necessary, make gentle steering corrections to bring the vehicle back into the lane.

 

The Park Assist system is particularly useful in urban areas or in tight spaces. This system assists the driver in entering and exiting a parking space by taking over the steering. All the driver has to do is apply the accelerator and brake while the vehicle manoeuvres into the parking space autonomously.

 

Emergency Brake Assist (Front Assist) is a safety-relevant system that monitors traffic ahead and detects potential collisions. If a dangerous situation is detected, the VW ID.4’s Emergency Brake Assist warns the driver and, in an emergency, can initiate automatic braking in order to avoid a collision or reduce its severity.

 

In addition to these systems, the VW ID.4 also offers Blind Spot Monitor, which warns the driver of vehicles in the blind spot, and Traffic Sign Recognition, which detects traffic signs such as speed limits and displays them to the driver.

 

These driver assistance systems make the Volkswagen ID.4 one of the safest and most comfortable vehicles in its class. They help to enhance the driving experience while increasing safety for all road users.
