Škoda's craftsmanship is confidently presented in the interior of the Škoda Octavia. No matter which seat you sit in, the high-quality interior materials make every journey a unique pleasure. Thanks to the exceptionally generous amount of space, all occupants have plenty of legroom and headroom. The boot volume impresses with its storage space of 640 litres and can be expanded to 1'700 litres when the rear seat bench is folded down.

The Škoda Octavia IV comes with a wide range of engines, including petrol, diesel and a plug-in hybrid. Petrol engines range from 110 hp to 245 hp, while diesel engines range from 115 hp to 200 hp. The plug-in hybrid combines a petrol engine with an electric motor and offers a system output from 204 hp to 245 hp. All engines are designed for efficiency and performance and meet the latest environmental standards.

The modern infotainment system has an integrated SIM card and offers useful features such as up-to-date traffic information and the possibility of a WiFi connection for passengers’ mobile devices. The Škoda Octavia is equipped with high-quality technology. From information services via the “Laura” voice control system to remote access control outside the car – it leaves little to be desired. The remote control via app allows you, for example, to switch on the ventilation before you get into the car. The “Laura” voice assistant supports you with operating the navigation system, media playback and much more.

The Škoda Octavia is equipped with a comprehensive range of Safety Assists. These include Crew Protect Assist, which automatically tightens the seatbelts and closes the windows in the event of an imminent accident. It also includes Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keeping Assist, which additionally contribute to driving safety. Turn Assist detects oncoming vehicles and brakes in the event of danger until the car stops completely. Exit Assist prevents collisions when opening the door by issuing an audible warning signal.

The Škoda Octavia derives its name from the Latin term “Octavia”, which translates to “the Eighth”. This name was chosen because the Octavia was the eighth Škoda model after the Second World War and also the eighth model with a single-wheel suspension.

The Škoda Octavia is a compact class vehicle. It was launched in 1996. The Octavia was the first model developed and manufactured after the Volkswagen Group took over the Škoda brand. It is technically based on the VW Golf IV and was initially offered as a sedan. By 2010, almost 1.5 million copies of the first generation had been sold.

The second generation went on sale in spring 2004. This generation was technically based on the VW Golf IV. The third generation of the Octavia was released in February 2013. It was the first generation based on Volkswagen's modular transverse matrix (MBQ). The current fourth generation of the vehicle was presented in November 2019 and is available as a sedan and station wagon.

The best-selling car in Switzerland four times in a row from 2017 to 2020. In 2006, the Octavia II station wagon version won the red dot design award in the product design category.

Ambition: “Ambition” is the basic equipment line of the Škoda Octavia. It includes the 8-inch “SWING” touchscreen, 16-inch “TWISTER” alloy wheels, LED headlights and more. Lane Assist provides additional security. A fully automatic dual-zone temperature control system with the “Climatronic” air-conditioning system ensures comfort.

Style: “Style” offers additional comfort to the “Ambition” equipment line with its heated front seats, virtual cockpit and the “COLUMBUS” navigation system. 17-inch alloy wheels accentuate the design. Parking sensors at the front and rear make parking easy. The “KESSY” keyless locking system is also included.
