Sporty and unconventional, the CUPRA Ateca fits perfectly into the brand identity of CUPRA. Its high-quality exterior extends from the accentuated bonnet, the radiant full-LEDs and the side lines to the sporty rear including duplex exhaust pipes in the dynamic rear diffuser. With its 300 hp engine, the powerful CUPRA Ateca gets from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds. It reaches a top speed of 249 km/h. With the Brembo brake pads, you have braking fully under control at all times. The CUPRA C design elements of the tribal-like logo can also be found in the rims.

CUPRA Ateca Interior design

The sportiness of the CUPRA Ateca continues in the interior. The bucket seats are made of first-class materials, such as genuine leather. Do you like to adjust your lighting according to your mood? With ambient lighting, you have a wide range of colours. The multifunction steering wheel lets you select your driving profile and also switch between gears. There is enough space in the boot to store your belongings. If your hands are full, a slight foot movement under the rear is all it takes to open the lid.

The roots of CUPRA can be found in racing history. Powerful engines are what the brand stands for and the CUPRA Ateca is a worthy family member with its 300 hp high-performance engine. Three different turbocharged petrol direct injection engines from 150 hp to 300 hp are available.

CUPRA Ateca BeatsAudio sytem

The CUPRA Ateca features a wide range of technical equipment. The right melody for the right mood comes from the nine premium speakers of the BeatsAudio™ system. The bird’s-eye view from your top-view camera takes the stress out of parking, even in difficult parking spaces. Do you want to charge your smartphone while driving? Simply place it in the wireless connectivity box. Your car sends the information in the event of an accident directly to the emergency services and the roadside assistance service via the emergency call function. The CUPRA CONNECT online services allow you to access the vehicle even if you have already got out. For example, have the parking position displayed or check whether you locked the doors.

Sit back and relax. The CUPRA Ateca supports you wherever possible. The Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) adjusts the speed according to speed limits or bends. Travel Assist keeps you in lane and automatically adjusts the speed depending on the traffic flow. A Park Assist should also be included in the spec. The Park Assist provides an acoustic and visual warning of hazards, while Side Assist detects vehicles that are up to 70 metres behind your car. The Emergency Assist maintains the vehicle in lane if the driver fails to respond and can even initiate braking.

CUPRA is the abbreviation for cup pacer. SEAT has been using the term for its brand cup racing cars since 1990. Ateca is a small town in the province of Zaragoza. SEAT therefore also uses geographically based model names for CUPRA.

The fledgling brand CUPRA was introduced by SEAT in 2018 as a challenger line. Sporty and unconventional, CUPRA set out to cater to the higher-end mass market. The CUPRA Ateca was the brand's first car to be included from the very beginning. The Ateca started with the 300 hp high-performance engine. The lower rated engines were not added until 2023.

As an SUV, the CUPRA Ateca focuses on practical everyday usage. Added to this is the sporty design component and the powerful engine. Together, this is a compelling combination – even as a second-hand car.
