For those who prefer the benefits of a diesel engine, the 2.0 TDI offers a proven option. This 4-cylinder diesel engine is available in power ratings from 150 hp to 200 hp and is known for its efficiency and durability.

A particularly interesting option is the 1.4 TSI iV plug-in hybrid, which combines a 1.4 TSI petrol engine with an electric motor and offers a system output of 218 hp. This variant allows emission-free driving on short distances while offering the flexibility of a conventional combustion engine.

All the engines of the Skoda Superb are equipped with advanced technologies that optimise both performance and efficiency, including direct injection, turbocharging and start/stop systems. Depending on the engine chosen, the Skoda Superb is available with both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, making it a versatile and adaptable vehicle.

Highlights include Matrix LED headlamps, which provide excellent illumination of the road and automatically adapt to the traffic situation to avoid glare. Dynamic Suspension Control (DCC Plus) allows the driver to customise the vehicle’s handling. With Normal, Sport and Comfort modes, the suspension can be adjusted according to preference.

Progressive steering improves handling at high speeds and makes parking easier at low speeds. All engines of the Skoda Superb are equipped as standard with a 7-speed dual clutch transmission (DSG) that enables quick and smooth shifting while keeping fuel consumption low. The full LED matrix headlights not only provide better night vision, but also longer life and lower energy consumption.

Another highlight is the Emergency Assist, which intervenes if the driver becomes unfit to drive. If the system detects no steering movement or other driver actions, it first issues an acoustic and visual warning. If the driver does not react, the assistant safely brings the vehicle to a standstill. Traffic Jam Assist makes driving in heavy traffic easier by automatically starting, braking and keeping the vehicle in lane.

In addition, the Skoda Superb offers Traffic Sign Recognition, which detects speed limits and other important traffic signs and displays them to the driver.

The Skoda Superb is available in several variants to meet different needs and preferences. The basic Ambition variant offers solid basic equipment with LED headlights and an 8-inch infotainment system. The Style variant adds additional comfort features such as heated front seats and an extended infotainment system.

For sporty drivers, there is the Sportline variant, which impresses with sporty accents, special alloy wheels and a sporty chassis. 

In addition, there is the Superb iV, a plug-in hybrid variant that offers eco-friendly mobility with a system output of 218 hp. The Superb Combi is the station wagon version of the vehicle, offering even more space and flexibility, ideal for families and frequent travellers.
