Exterior design of the Skoda Kodiaq

The new-generation Skoda Kodiaq incorporates the first elements of the ‘Modern Solid’ design language – a fusion of form and function. The new generation is also slightly bigger and now offers passengers in the third row more space and plenty of room for luggage. The Kodiaq is a true family car with ample space for up to seven passengers. The third row of seats can be easily folded away under the boot floor if more space is needed for luggage.

INTERIOR

Interior design of the Skoda Kodiaq

The all-new interior features innovative controls, sustainable materials and – for the first time in a large SUV – a head-up display. The Smart Dials – three new, intuitive and multifunctional controls – are located below the infotainment display. Up to four different vehicle functions can be assigned to these rotary push-buttons.

The Skoda Kodiaq features highly sophisticated equipment. These include the electric tailgate, a USB-C connection in the rear-view mirror and the virtual cockpit.

The Skoda Kodiaq offers a wide range of state-of-the-art assistance systems that significantly improve safety and comfort while driving. New additions include Turn Assist and Crossroad Assist. For added convenience, the vehicle has an automatic parking feature that can be controlled from outside the vehicle and can also save the directions for a maximum of five selected car parks.

The Kodiak bear, which lives on Kodiak Island off the south coast of Alaska, is not only the largest brown bear in the world, but also the namesake of the Skoda Kodiaq. In reference to the language of the indigenous Alutiiq people, a “q” has been added to the end of the name, as they do with their animal names.

The Skoda  Kodiaq is the second model in Skoda's successful SUV series. It was presented in Berlin in 2016, before receiving a facelift in 2021. It laid the foundation for the typical Skoda SUV naming style, starting with “K” and ending with “q”. The Kodiaq is available as a five-seater and in the larger version with ample space, as a seven-seater. Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, the Skoda Kodiaq quickly became a top model in the Skoda portfolio. To date, almost 792,000 models have been sold in more than 60 countries. Numerous international awards followed, such as the 2017 “Best Import Vehicle” and the Red Dot Award for outstanding product design. In addition, the Skoda Kodiaq is largely responsible for Skoda's success in international markets, particularly in China, Germany, the United Kingdom and the Czech Republic.

With more than 40 international awards and plenty of space, the Skoda Kodiaq is always a good choice – also as a used car. Reliable and robust, it can be used flexibly in the city or off-road.
