Have you always wanted to feel like a racing driver and love speed? The V10 naturally aspirated engine in the Audi R8 Spyder V10 performance quattro makes it possible with 456 kW and 620 hp. The V10 engine was even used in Formula One between 1989 and 2005. However, since the regulation was amended in 2006, only up to eight cylinders are allowed. Consequently, the V10 bowed out from Formula One. All R8 engines are currently direct petrol injection engines with 10 cylinders. Experience the special thrill including butterflies in the tummy. Experience the performance as intensely as hardly anyone else. The Audi R8 accelerates from 0 to 100 in 3.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of up to 329 km/h.

The 10-inch MMI display comes with a variety of features, such as personal route assistance, online traffic information, speech entry and touchpad navigation with scroll capability directly on the map.

The control unit in the centre console controls the entire infotainment system. The acoustics in the sports car are just as superb. The high-quality sound system including five-channel amplifier with Bang & Olufsen technology offers excellent surround quality with a power output of 465 watts.

The parking system plus, based on acoustic and optical signals, is included in the standard equipment as well as the cruise control.

The name was chosen as a reference to the legendary racing prototype Audi R8 Le Mans. The R8 Le Mans competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans from 1999 to 2005 and demonstrated its performance in other endurance races. Except for the mid-engine design, there are, however, no similarities between the two vehicles.

The Audi R8 is a sports car through and through. The first generation of the mid-engine car with the type designation 42 was launched in September 2006. In 2015, the second generation of the sports car came off the production line for the first time. In early 2019, the R8 underwent a facelift.
