Head for the sun or take the team to a meeting? The Touran can be one or many. Just right for when the journey is more important than the destination.

INTERIOR

VW Touran interior design

Thanks to its flexible interior design, the Touran can either be used as a five-seater, seven-seater or transport vehicle. The individual seats in the second and third rows can be folded down in no time to create a flat loading floor. With five seats upright, the car has a load capacity of up to 834 litres. When all the seats are folded down, you have up to 1,980 litres of space to do what you please with. And if your Touran has seven seats, the third row of seats is easy to reach thanks to the fold-down second row – and not just for children.

Further details about the Volkswagen Touran

We’ve all been there: standing in front of the boot, with both hands full. With the optional Easy Open function, the system recognises the car key in your pocket or bag, allowing you to open the boot with your foot. A small movement under the rear is all it takes for the boot to open. It closes just as easily at the push of a button on the inside.

Is it too hot for one person, too cold for the other? With the optional three-zone climate control, the temperatures can be set independently of each other for the driver, front passenger and rear passengers. On request, also available from the rear seats with additional controls. Thanks to the indirect ventilation mode at the front, you get fresh air without draughts. And when the windscreen-cleaning function is activated or the car is in reverse gear, the system automatically switches to recirculation mode to keep odours outside. In other words, the Touran offers a comfortable climate all round.

The second row of seats in the Touran can be fitted with one or two integrated child seats on request:

 

  • suitable for children aged three and over
  • easy-to-mount side headrest
  • includes standard ISOFIX preparation

With indirect light, the white ambient lighting in the Touran ensures a pleasant atmosphere:

 

  • installed on the front door handles, the trim strips of the doors and the armrest
  • LED reading lights at the front and rear
  • LED footroom lighting
