As strange as it might sound, this could happen to you in the new Passat, and not only because of its ergoActive seats with massage function (an optional extra). With its impressive and spacious interior as well as a focus on innovative technologies and stylish design, the Passat is ahead of the curve. Small details like the topstitching add a luxurious touch to the driver’s cockpit. Multiple, more diverse storage options, such as the enlarged jumbo box in the centre console, provide flexible storage space for your important things.

Dampens shock, not your expectations.

Often, it’s the invisible innovations that make the difference – like the adaptive suspension control DCC Pro with dynamic steering, which is available on request. The electronically controlled shock absorbers with 2-valve system adapt to the respective road surface and driving situation in milliseconds.

You’ll feel radiant without dazzling others!

One of the new Passat’s highlights is its innovative IQ.LIGHT. The headlights’ Matrix technology enables non-stop full-beam driving without dazzling other road users (within the limits of the system).⁠ A stylish band of light runs between the headlights and the Volkswagen logo.

Efficient

The two completely newly developed plug-in hybrid drives (eHybrid) combined with a new 19.7 kWh battery (net energy content) provide pure electric ranges of around 100 km (WLTP). Also new on board the Passat is a 48V mild hybrid drive. A powerful turbo petrol engine or three turbo diesel engines complete the drive range.

New display landscape.

The clearly structured and large display landscape is striking – stylish, functional and progressive. The technology of the VW Passat is based on the MIM. This is the latest generation of the ‘Modular Infotainment Module’ which enables intuitive operation and has been consistently adapted to the requirements of VW drivers.

Assisted parking.

The new Passat will be launched with an enhanced range of state-of-the-art assistance systems. A new feature is the range of parking assistance systems. These include the optional ‘Park Assist Plus,’ the ‘Park Assist Pro’ and the memory function for the ‘Park Assist Pro’.
