A cut above. The new CUPRA Formentor’s body exudes grace, dynamism and sheer sophistication. The dynamic rear spoiler and the larger air intakes at the front enhance aerodynamics. The dual exhaust system completes the sporty design and supports the sound of the vehicle. The copper-coloured 19-inch alloy wheels are a real eye-catcher.

Top performance is the buzzword at CUPRA. The CUPRA Formentor went on sale with a 150 hp TSI engine and a 310 hp TSI engine with four-wheel drive. In 2021, a direct petrol injection engine with 190 hp and a 245 hp model with all-wheel drive joined the line-up. In addition, the CUPRA Formentor VZ5 has a five-cylinder engine with 390 hp. In terms of electric mobility, CUPRA offers an e-hybrid with 204 hp and 245 hp respectively for the Formentor.

The CUPRA Formentor is high-quality and digital. The digital cockpit with its 10-inch screen allows you to keep an eye on all the important information. The navigation system next to it can also be operated with the 12-inch touchscreen. Traffic sign recognition always keeps you up to speed. From music to traffic messages, the online infotainment system has many useful features. You can also use the app to control your Formentor from outside and, for example, lock or unlock it.

The High Beam Assist automatically adjusts the high beam and prevents others from being dazzled by your high beam. With Travel Assist, you’ll always stay in your lane. In addition, the car adapts to the speed of the other cars. With the ACC, the CUPRA Formentor always selects the right speed, whether cornering or negotiating road restrictions. Parking becomes a breeze with the Park Assist. It simply takes over manoeuvring for you. If something approaches your car from behind while you are about to get out, the Exit Assist will intervene and block the door to prevent a collision. The Formentor also offers Front Assist, Reverse Assist and Lane Change Assist.

The name CUPRA Formentor has a geographical origin. On Mallorca there is an elevated lookout point called Cap Formentor. It is located at the northernmost point of the island.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the CUPRA Formentor could not be presented as originally planned at the Geneva Motor Show 2020. Instead, a live stream took place in March 2020. In July of the same year, 310 cars of the limited first edition were booked. Deliveries of the cars started in autumn 2020. The CUPRA Formentor received five out of five stars from the Euro NCAP for vehicle safety.

Its powerful engine and sporty coupé design stand for strength and timelessness. Added to this are the advanced technology of CUPRA and the advantages of a compact SUV. These are some of the reasons that make the CUPRA Formentor very popular as a second-hand car.
