At 5.31 metres long with a wheelbase of 3.14 metres, the Audi Q9 offers exceptional spaciousness and spearheads the Audi SUV family. The upright front, the pronounced shoulder line and the large Singleframe lend the SUV a confident, unmistakable presence. Up to 23-inch alloy wheels accentuate the powerful impression. At the rear, the world’s first curved digital OLED tail lights in a production vehicle, combined with the continuous LED light strip and illuminated Audi rings, create a striking light signature.

INTERIOR

Audi Q9 interior design

The interior of the Audi Q9 combines spaciousness, high-quality materials and exceptional comfort. The SUV can accommodate up to seven people as standard. A six-seater configuration with two separate, electrically adjustable seats in the second row is available as an option. Automatic doors with intelligent obstacle detection make getting in and out easier. The doors can also be opened and closed at the touch of a button. The standard panoramic sunroof incorporating over 1.5 m² of glass creates a particularly generous sense of space. The large boot capacity of up to 2308 litres ensures ample stowage space for luggage, sports equipment and shopping.

At market launch, the Audi Q9 will be available with a powerful 3.0-litre V6 TDI. The engine produces 220 kW (299 hp) and delivers a maximum torque of 630 Nm.

The MHEV plus technology supports the internal combustion engine with up to 18 kW of additional electrical power and ensures a dynamic response, high efficiency and superior driving performance. The Audi Q9 comes with a fast-shifting eight-speed tiptronic and quattro permanent all-wheel drive as standard.

The Audi Q9 has modern driver assistance systems that provide active support in a variety of driving situations.

Highlights include:

  • Emergency assist with automatic hard-shoulder pull-over
  • Exit warning with environment monitoring
  • Adaptive cruise assist
  • Blind spot monitoring
  • Cross-traffic warning system
  • 360° camera system
  • Park assist
  • Trailer manoeuvring assist: takes over steering when reversing with a trailer attached
  • Trailer stability control: detects when the trailer is swaying and stabilises it through selective braking of individual wheels

The systems help to increase comfort and safety both in day-to-day use and on long journeys.
